NEEV is the annual corporate and cultural fest of
SCMHRD and is India’s 3rd largest B-school festival. Held in December every year, NEEV attracts an audience of over 15,000 people from more than 40+ colleges across the nation. NEEV 2019 marks the 26th year since its inception and continues to provide aspiring corporate professionals and world-class performance artists a stage to showcase their talent. NEEV has had headliners like Kanika Kapoor, Shirley Sethia, and Nikhil D’Souza grace the stage, music sensations like Lost Stories, Zaeden and DJ Shaan perform at the EDM nights and have seen notable personalities like Harsha Bhogle, Kumar Mangal Birla and Aditya Ghosh come as keynote speakers. BNY Mellon, MRF, Reliance Jio, Indian Oil, Emami, Pepsi, VH1 Supersonic, Enchanted Valley Carnival and FC Pune City are some of the prominent brands NEEV is proud to have been associated with in the past. Additionally, NEEV has set precedent for some incredible feats like being
the first festival to bring Sunburn to Pune.
NEEV 2019’s theme was unveiled as
The Ascension during this year’s theme launch. The occasion was graced by the Director of SCMHRD Dr. Pratima Sheorey and had performances by Lamberghini fame, Ragini Tandon, famous comedians Pushkar Bendre along with his “partner in crime” Ms. Aayushi Jagad and an invigourating light and dance performance by Neha’s Dance O mania.
NEEV engages its audience and participants with over 35+ events. The flagship event of NEEV, Augustus, receives a participation of 2500+ people in the search for India’s Best Student Manager with a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakhs, making it the biggest student manager event in the country. Panache -The Fashion face-off serves as the perfect platform to break new ground in the sphere of fashion. Nukkad Natak, the street play event is about voices laced with satire and irony that can have an impact on society. Verve - A myriad of emotions and stories performed through the language of Dance. NEEV in association with Miss India Organisation also hosts the prestigious pageant, FBB Campus Princess.
In the 2018 edition, NEEV’s ubiquitous excitement was fueled by the energy of the audience during the EDM and Bollywood nights. NEEV 2018 saw the internationally acclaimed music producer DJ Shadow who officially produced for Pitbull, Sean Paul, Guru Randhawa, Badshah, Bohemia, make the audience jump to the beat of his tracks. The second night saw Bollywood music icon Nikhil D’Souza mesmerise SCMHRD with his melodic vocals and beautiful songs.
