Trisha Gupta is a finance and marketing enthusiast, currently pursuing post graduate diploma in finance from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. She has been placed on the Dean's Merit List and was a national finalist in the Accuracy Business Cup. She has also been recognized as a P&G Emerging Leader and McKinsey's Next Generation Women Leader (APAC). Prior to joining SPJIMR, she worked at KPMG India for more than 1.5 years in their Risk Consultancy department engaging in projects related to fraud investigations, internal audit, fraud risk management, due diligence, and anti-money laundering. She was the General Secretary and Proctor of the Commerce Association at Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University from where she pursued a B. Com (Hons.)She is also a V-Force volunteer for United Nations Volunteers India, has interned at MRM//McCann during her UG and with P&G during her autumns. Trisha Gupta's leadership in the Accuracy Business Cup during her MBA program showcases her strategic and adaptive approach to project management. The careful selection of a diverse yet complementary team laid the foundation for success. When faced with a team member's commitment clash, Trisha stepped into the project manager role, devising a meticulous plan that highlighted her adaptability and leadership. This experience taught her valuable lessons in teamwork, project management, and overcoming challenges. Throughout her MBA program, Trisha developed crucial skills such as networking, communication, dynamic thinking, ethical leadership, time management, and prioritization. She emphasizes the importance of effective communication and meaningful networking, asserting that meaningful interactions lead to richer experiences. Trisha's commitment to ethical leadership is evident in her involvement in social initiatives like Abhyudhaya and development of corporate citizenship, demonstrating a holistic approach to leadership. Trisha plans to leverage her MBA skills, emphasizing multi-perspective thinking, effective communication, meaningful networking, and a balance between effectiveness and efficiency. Her preferred industry is FMCG, particularly corporate finance, where her interests align with both marketing and finance. Trisha believes her unique skill set and deep understanding of both disciplines would contribute to holistic decision-making in FMCG roles and general management. In terms of teamwork and collaboration, Trisha values diverse perspectives, effective communication, recognizing individual strengths, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. She emphasizes the importance of diversity and the recognition of individual strengths to optimize workflow. Trisha's adaptability shines through in her ability to adjust timelines and redistribute tasks to accommodate team members' commitments. Her approach fosters an environment of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
