Despite the economy taking a dive post-COVID, UBS attracted 278 companies to participate in the campus recruitment for final placement and the summer internship process. Using its significant corporate connect and the strong endorsement of the industry with the backing of the 60 CEOs, UBS saw a yet another successful placement season For its flagship batch, the average salary has also increased from INR 10.41 lacs from INR Rs.8.60 Lacs, while the median salary for the graduating batch increased to INR 10 Lacs from INR 8.05 Lacs. - Total No. of Companies on Campus in 2022 - 278
- Students with multiple Offers (last year) – 24
- The average salary for the Top 25% of the students is INR 12.61 LPA
- The average salary for the Top 50% of the students is INR 11.38 LPA
- For experienced students who joined UBS, the average increase in salary was 161% with the highest increase being an astounding 460%.

UBS Placements 2022 - Key Placement Trends:
Universal Business School claims to have surpassed the previous year’s performance, on all counts. It has attracted the highest number of companies and achieved the highest average salary in the last 5 years.
UBS attracted 26 first time recruiters who are in the fields of Sustainability Consulting, Gaming companies, Digital Marketing, Fintech, eCommerce, and Business Analytics. The highlight of the placement season remained Global Sustainability Consulting companies and Business Analytics roles offered.
Sales & Marketing, Marketing Research: Top domain with 47% offers -
Marketing dominated the 2022 placements with Sales & Distribution and Marketing Research. With participation from Industry giants like TATA AIG General Insurance, Xiaomi, HPE, L&T, Reliance Retail, JP Infra, Times Group, Practo, TATA Play, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Quality Kiosk, UpGrad, Phone Pe, Byju’s, White Hat Jr., etc. placement in marketing looked strong.
Banking, Financial Services and Consulting: 33% share in Placement
The Banking and Financial Services domain remained the second most attractive sector this year. Recruiters offered varied profiles ranging from management trainee, analysts in credit and risk management, Asst. Finance Manager, Fund Accounting Manager, Branch Manager, Management Consultant, Associate – Consulting & Advisory and Forex Trading Manager. The major recruiters include Deloitte, HDFC Bank, American Express, IDFC First Bank, Federal Bank, Morningstar, Yes Bank, Darashaw Securities, to name a few.
Operations, Logistics/Supply Chain & Analytics: 14% share in Placement
Recruiters include HUL, Repos Energy, DHL, Reliance Industries, Kuehne + Nagel, Tech Mahindra, Galaxy Surfactants, Accenture, which offered varied profiles ranging from project management, vendor management, supply chain management, warehouse management and store operations.
General Management, Consulting& HR: 6% share in Placement
Eminent recruiters like Shoppers Stop, Deloitte, Tresvista Financial Services, Quality kiosk, upGrad, Wiz Freight, hired for the roles in talent acquisition, HR Generalist, Area HR Manager and Management Trainee roles.
Business Analytics:
This year was the second year that students were recruited for Business Analytics job profiles, 16 students were recruited by Deloitte, Yes Bank, American Express, ERM, Gametion, Accenture & Tech Mahindra.
