There must have been numerous times when you felt a brilliant startup idea had just flashed like lightning in your mind. Yes, it is exactly like a lightening; bright, powerful, but fleeting and momentary and so you need to get a hold of it. Usually, you get such ideas out of frustration on account of your unmet needs. Congratulations. That should be your first question ideally; is your idea in demand or is your idea solving any needs? What after that? Paul Graham noted in his lecture at Harvard Computer Society that the only two things to think about are: ‘to spend as little money as possible’ and ‘to start with good people’.

But often, it happens that we get entwined in the questions, ‘is it the right time’ and ‘is my idea good enough’? If you too have been stuck at this juncture or are confused about scaling up or are just a passionate entrepreneur, then watch Parag Chitale reveal his secrets to leaving his steady corporate job after JBIMS, establishing and growing CPLC, and his visionary thought to make it personalized. He went on to successfully start, grow, scale, and ultimately sell CPLC in a span of 20 years and tutored thousands of students to get into top B-schools like IIM (A, B, C, L, K, I), FMS, XLRI, SPJIMR, JBIMS, MDI, NMIMS, MICA, etc. In continuation with the first part of his video for Konversations in Quarantine series, in this second part, he unravels his entrepreneurial journey to creating one of the most well renowned MBA coaching classes, CPLC, and his visionary thought to make it personalized. From making it to JBIMS, one of the top b-schools in India to leaving a corporate career to start his own successful venture and now becoming a seasoned mentor and a sports management enthusiast, Parag sir has donned many hats and taken many risks and he talks about all of them here. What really stands out in this video is his key insights and advice to all the budding entrepreneurs out there. He understands that each and every person has his/her own unique struggles and this is where he wants to make an impact as a Career Mentor and Coach in Kounsel 1-on-1 Mentorship Program.
