XLRI's latest summer placement report is out! This year, the batch received an incredible average stipend of 1.54 lakhs and median stipend of 1.50 lakhs. The highest stipend stood at a whopping 3.5 lakhs. The average of the top-50% of the stipends offered was close to 2 lakhs. The 510-strong batch received 525 offers from top recruiters hiring for product management, marketing, front-end investment banking, and other sought-after roles. XLRI Summer Placements 2022 - Key Stipend Figures
In 2022, XLRI saw a 17% growth in the average stipend offered and a 20% increase in the median stipend. The highest stipend grew by about 3% and stood at an impressive INR 3.5 lakhs per month.
Additionally, 96% of all the offers secured will draw a stipend of at least INR 1 lakh per month, with 67% drawing at least INR 1.5 lakh per month.
XLRI Summer Placements 2022 - Key Recruitment Highlights
This year, XLRI achieved 100% placements for its largest ever batch of 510 MBA students. The batch of 2022-2024 received Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, General Management, Product Management, Operations, Analytics and Human Resources offers from leading companies across industries.
In 2022, new recruiters on the XLRI campus included Airtel, Alkem Laboratories, Atlassian, Auctus Advisors, BLS International, Himalaya Wellness, IndigoEdge, Piramal, Prime Venture Partners, Providence, SBI Capital, Shannonside Capital, Something’s Brewing, Tata 1mg, United Breweries Limited and Winzo among others.

Sector-Wise Recruiters on Campus
In 2022, BFSI firms extended offers to XLRI students for Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Markets, Front-End Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking and Private Banking roles. American Express was the top recruiter in the sector with 8 offers, followed by JP Morgan and Shannonside Capital with 3 offers each for Debt Market, Sales & Trading and Hedge Fund Buy Side roles.
In the Consulting and Advisory cohort, Accenture Strategy was the top recruiter with 30 offers, followed by Boston Consulting Group (22 offers), Bain & Company (16 offers), PwC (11 offers) and McKinsey & Company (9 offers).
Consumer Goods and Consume Durables companies offered Strategy, Digital Marketing, Sales, Brands Product Supply, Operations, Finance, IT, and Human Resources roles to XLRI students. Bajaj Auto was the top recruiter with 25 offers, followed by HUL (21 offers) and Asian Paints (11 offers).
Amongst conglomerates, the Aditya Birla Group was the highest recruiter with 11 offers, followed by Reliance (9 offers) and Tata Administrative Services (6 offers).
IT and Ecommerce companies offered Product Management, Operations, Marketing, Program Management, General Management and Human Resources roles to XLRI's batch of 2024. Amazon was the top recruiter in this sector with 41 offers, followed by Walmart (7 offers) and Flipkart (6 offers).
