To show how big ABG is in our life, let me tell you a routine of a person who can be you, me or anyone else amongst the millions of dedicated customers using their products.
Alarm Rings, Beep Beep. After waking up in a mattress made of Birla cellulose fibre, Akshay goes for exercise in his Skult T-shirt and joggers. While returning home, he buys some fresh groceries from More store. Reaching home, he haves his breakfast and packs his lunch in Freshwrapp aluminum foil for the office. Finally, he dresses in his Louis Phillippee formals and leaves his rented house made from Ultratech cement.
Fast forward that just when he is sitting in his cabin planning to invest in Birla Sun Life mutual funds, his friend interrupts to ask for some financial help. He immediately transfers the money using Aditya Birla payment bank. Suddenly he looks at the cloudy weather outside. He opens the Eternia aluminum windows to reach the balcony. Looking at a nearby house, he too gets the desire to have his own house. He searches for home loans and decides to get it from Aditya Birla capital.
On the way back home, when he was buying some plum cakes from a bakery which uses Delice phosphates, he gets a call on his Idea cellular network from his girlfriend who studies at BITS Pilani. They decide to meet and finally, he founds himself with her visiting stores from People to Pantaloons. Her search stops at Biba after getting her dress in Liva premium fabric. He also gets lucky enough to buy a linen shirt from Linen club for himself. Then after having dinner he quickly drops her in his car with tyres having Birla Carbon, on his way home to finally sleep on his comfortable mattress.
This is the kind of dependence one can have on ABG products. In short, ABG touches and cares for you in almost all spans of your life. They are with us in our journey of life. ABG is always ‘BIG IN OUR LIFE’.
PART B: Overcoming challenges
"Perspective and Perseverance is everything when you are experiencing the challenges of life"
Challenges are part of one’s life. They make one realize and improve their strengths and if someone didn’t face any challenges in life, it means they have surely underestimated their potential.
Speaking of one of the major challenges that I faced in life which was making it to one of the premier B-schools in the country. Completing my graduation from M.M.M University had been a pretty much common affair. After graduation, instead of joining an IT job, I preferred joining my family business which deals with the processing and packaging of Asafoetida. Life was going on well, but I realized that I had hit the plateau. Only in a few months, my ideas and motivation began to diminish. I had to take a decision on whether to continue with my business or to do something that could raise my standards in terms of knowledge and exposure.
After a lot of research and consulting, I made the decision to pursue an MBA, but getting into the top B-schools was pretty much a challenge in itself. Yet, I decided to take up the challenge. I took the decision in the year 2017 and started simultaneously preparing for the entrance exams. I gave my best but still could not get into a good B-school. I started doubting myself as it was a big failure at my end. But sooner, I realized that life is not so easy and that I should face failures with boldness, rather than kneeling down before them. Although it was not easy, but in order to reach my end goal I had to equip myself with a better mindset in order to crack CAT.
It was time to take up the challenge and live up to the expectations I had set for myself. I made an attempt again in the year 2018 with even bigger motivation and was able to make it through, to one of the premier B-schools in India, VGSoM, IIT Kharagpur.
The kind of dedication and hard work required for making it possible was one which I could not have imagined if I would have not met a failure. Challenges are the objects that motivate you to take on things you might never imagine. I believe the real challenge was not getting into a good B-school but has now begun to stand among the brightest minds in the country and come out with a better version of myself.
