- Happiness on my parents’ face:
- I am an Electronics and Telecommunication engineer (B.E. 2016) from Mumbai University. I started my campus job in the July of 2016. I always wanted to buy smartphones for my parents from my salary. Within 3 months of my career, I bought two of them. My parents had a non-smart phone then. Along with the phones, I subscribed to IDEA
postpaid network for both of them. Till date, they both are still on the same network and have been more than happy customers than I would have wanted them to. - Happiness on my face:
- I have never had a complete formal blazer-suit of my own. Even during my graduation farewell, I rented one instead of buying. But then it was my first cousin’s wedding during the Feb of 2018 that finally I decided to buy one. There were a lot of options to be honest which not only means the brands (ready-made) but an option of sewing a suit of my size. I decided to go for a ready-made branded suit. After a lot of window shopping, trials, I shortlisted two, a Van Heusen and a Peter England. Turns out that both these are a part of ABG. I went with the Peter England one and since then, have been using it for the weddings, family functions and MBA interviews. Boy, black looks good on me!
- Happiness on my family’s face:
- We recently booked a flat in an under-construction property. It is seemingly good residential-commercial project in Navi Mumbai. While the construction of the same is in full force, at the heart of it is the ABG’s UltraTech cement used for it. We are very excited to move into the property. We are sure the strength and bond of the cement is as good as our family’s bond with the ABG.
We as a family would love to take this opportunity to thank ABG and would love to be a part of ABG’s family.
Part-B: ‘How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far’.
Challenges are something which are part and parcel and are crucial moments in a person’s life. It is during these moments that one’s strengths are tested to the fullest. Everyone faces challenges in their lives and we as humans respond to them. Challenges lead one to achieve one’s dreams or could also falter them. Just as everyone, I have faced many challenges in my life and the key for me has always been to stick to my strengths. I am a hard-working person with a lot of perseverance. I am also adaptable to changes quickly. Most of my life has been involved in education an most of the challenges have been related to it, be it the school or the under-graduation life. I have also been challenged a lot during my corporate life. There have been a lot of ups and downs in my river of life and to come out of the troughs, strengths and self-belief plays a huge role. For me, being positive is important in these situations. Challenges come with not an intention to stay but to let go, it is you who have to direct them towards letting you go. Close friends, family could also play a big role in helping and motivating one towards success. My family has been supportive of me during all my troubled times. I am a firm believer of ‘Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’. I have always believed in myself and my strengths and that has helped me reaching to this point. Master-key is to stick with them as long as possible. If you can, you will surely overcome them as they come.
