SPJIMR Group Interview Experience 2022
GI 1 - Two People from finance and One from Operations.
Profile: Work ex- project manager at Thermax Ltd. (24months)
Panellists: 1 HR prof, 1 finance professor, 1 alumnus.
1. The starting question was to tell the panellists something interesting that is not there in the forms.
2. List of Project Management tools- I told Primavera P6, ERP, etc. and explained about them.
3. What problems did your company face during the pandemic and how you handled your customers- told about raw material prices.
4. I was grilled on the topic of why prices have increased. It was a continuous two way discussion b/w me and the Prof. At a point I told, this is what I read and I know only this much. He then guided me towards the ending. He asked is it only limited to our country. I then told WPI is at an all time since 1990.
5. Next alum asked me about what's special in SPJIMR and why operations.
6. My interest was cricket- he asked about what went wrong in the recent test series against SA. (I told about batting collapses and weak middle order)
7. He gave a situation- if ur a consultant selected for Indian cricket team, how would u select a team.
8. If we select u, what committee would u join and why.
9. Overall 3 ppl were with me in the panel. 2 from finance and me (Operations). Entire interview went for around 1 hr 15mins. Me and another girl got selected for gi2
Verdict: Cleared G1.
