While roots of various revolts for independence started growing in 1857, elsewhere at pilani, Rajasthan a cotton trading operations was commenced. Little did Seth Shiv Narayan Birla know at that time that he was laying the foundation of a global conglomerate whose vision is to have a clear focus on each of the businesses. Aditya across different languages means sun and justifying the name Aditya Birla Group have been glowing brighter and brighter since decades and continue glowing. Everyone knows the success story so no point in beating round the bush. Let us see how each individual like me grew along with them.                                                                                                          I came to know that in Hindi Aditya means sun during my third standard. From then onwards wherever I go this name followed me, rather I followed it. Be it in sacks and sacks of cement round my school construction sites, be it in the apparels I chose to wear, be it in the mobile cellular we are using, financial services and the list goes and goes on. A big story in the making since decades. I was dumbstruck by the fact that how a single group could manage and satisfy this much needs. The thing is I have not seen sun as many a times I have seen the title Aditya inscribed all-round me. The success not only depends on a particular group of people it attracted a large chunk of people around all age groups. Though the sun burns itself it makes us sweat most of the times but Aditya group by burning and working hard on themselves always tried to make us cool and chill all time around by showering us with umpteen number of products and services.

Throughout my life I have never faced successes without tasting the pinch of the failure. I have had this crave for public speaking since by early schooling. Stage fear entered my heart along with my crave and made it a grave. Out of stage fear I stammer and fumble a lot of time. I started working on myself by practising lot of times in front of mirror, exposing myself to lot of events and competitions. While attending those competitions I understood my flaws and was able to improve on it. While attending interviews I was not able to speak confidently and was worried as to how I would come up with my presentation skills. So I started remembering words and connecting the dots and presenting a flow of events around them. I even started reading books in reverse order as to improve concentration. Stage by stage public speaking became my strong area to a point that I even attend open mic competitions and share experiences with everyone. Another hurdle which I faced was approaching the aptitude sections. Being weak at reasoning I found it hard to analyse things at first. I started to read different case studies, analyse them trying to be in their shoes and perceive the point. This helped me a lot in taking a step closer towards perceiving things. Lastly I also had to work on speed in analyzing problems which I overcame by working under the clock and rectifying it. Identifying the challenges along with you goal is equally important because it gives a clear roadmap to achieve your goals. Identifying the challenges helped me to achieve my dream of getting into IIFT.
