Aditya Birla Group, a company which began immediately after independence is a market leader today. It is a brand with which people connect their daily life either directly or indirectly. The tagline “Big in your life” suggests its presence in our lives and Yes, its huge. Thinking of a day in my life and the products I use all day, I realize most of it comes from the ABG. Being a college student the freshwrapp which is used to wrap my rotis daily come along from here. Thinking of purchasing my first set of formals before entering into the B-School and now the two sections of my wardrobe the formal wear for the interviews and the guest lectures from Vanheusen, Peter England, Allen Solly and the casual from Forever21, Liva and pantaloons, planet fashion occupy the majority of space.
Most of the groceries and daily stuff used at my home comes at amazing discounts from the More megastore. It is very amusing to see the presence of ABG in my life and it is quite certain that every individual must have used something or another. Indian Railways which are used by a large population for travelling uses Birla Copper for their copper requirements and Insulators are made by the Grasim Industries. Not only in the consumer sector but ABG shows its presence in the banking and insurance sector through Aditya Birla Idea Payment Bank Limited. The humongous choices of products that ABG provides it is clearly seen that it is not just big in our lives but it is massive.
Getting a direction in my life and finally achieving my goal has been the biggest challenge. The first step towards you begins with the choice of taking up Science or Commerce, confused about what I want in future, I took science and spent 2+4 years of my life studying it. Towards the last year of my graduation I was again at the same spot. Choosing from a variety of options I decided to pursue MBA. I first gave all the entrance exams in 2016, sat for interviews. But it ended their. Not finding my luck in any of the exams left me heart broken. I started doubting my own self. However, not losing composure and maintaining calmness and peaceful state of mind, I decided to prepare and again give the exams. Going through the coaching and various Mock test helped me clear my basics while the mock interview sessions helped me build my confidence. I again sat for exams in 2017 with a better vision and confidence. I again sat for interviews and with these entrance exams I took admission in PGDM in marketing to learn and become what I aspired. Through this phase of my life I realized it is not always important to be correct in every step of their life but what is important is to understand the mistake, realize where things started going wrong , take risk in life and make a long term goal and finally work to achieve it . Nothing worse can happen of what had already happened.
