I was talking to my mom a few days back, I took a trip down memory lane. When I started earning, I had a wish. I wanted to buy something for my father. He bought numerous things for me since I was born, this was the least I wanted to do.

I went to an Allen Solly store and bought one for him. I never knew it was a part of the Aditya Birla Group brand. Nevertheless, it was a proud moment for me and ABG became a part of it.

My sister turned 14 today. I still remember the day she came back home with a horrified expression. She was 5 then. I asked "What happened?" She handed me an aluminum roll and said "I couldn't finish the Roti. Please eat it otherwise mom will hit me"

I saved her from the wrath of my mother that day. That aluminum wrap was of freshwrapp brand. Even then Aditya Birla group was a part of something which was scary for my sister.

When Hope came to rescue

I was staring at the screen. Three back to back negative results in a week broke down my confidence.

2.5 years worth of Hardwork was going down the drain. Friends were busy with their new interesting job life.

I thought of ditching up the plan of doing an MBA. But hope prevailed. I fought back.

I worked extra hard to make my parents proud.  Now that I am in SIBM Bengaluru, I can surely say my parents are happy now.

All the struggle and sacrifice I made in those 2.5 years was worth it. I am glad I never lost hope.
