Big is the vision,

Bigger is the desire to fulfill it,

Biggest is the smallest step taken to leap,

Big is the kick to learn , grow and lead,

Bigger is the experience when you fail,

Biggest is the promise to rise again from the ashes, no matter what!!

Isn’t flow the essence of life? A challenge is that flow. Sometimes there are crests , sometimes troughs. Challenges are posed at every stage of life. Each day is a test of one’s grit ,patience and skills. While in school, it was about preparing for exams, juggling between events and academics etc.,I have come a long way. When I was in college, I was diagnosed with hyperglycemia right before my semester exams. That was enough of a shocker for me who was also preparing for a competitive exam. To compound to the problem, I developed perforations in my eye which forced me to stop lifting weights and I had to quit gymming. That shattered me completely. For a next few months, doctors were my only buddies.I lost my focus in life. But on retrospection, I believe I have learnt anger management, more patience and ability to deal with situations more calmly. Life is a lesson, after all! After stepping out of the cocooned world , into the competitive corporate, I  remember having dealt with erratic work-shifts, working weekends, no fixed schedule that was taking a toll on me. But, eventually I acclimatized myself and accepted the reality.
Today, after cracking the exam I once had to give up on, I have embarked on a rigourous journey that MBA is. The challenge that the corporate world once threw me has become a disguised learning which has been keeping my ship sailing.

‘Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life’

Walking down the memory lane, my first nexus with the behemoth of a group- ABG,started back in the golden days of childhood. My mother used to wake me up early for and then used to go through the harrowing ritual which used to end after the school bus had petered out into a point. But the real demons that used to make her perturbed were whether the lunch that she prepared for me would remain fresh so that I continued to abide by her "mera swasth beta" mission. What came to the rescue? Freshwrap needs a standing ovation for that .Not just childhood ,it is something that has tagged along till today. "Ghar ka garam khana" with an assurance of freshness, retained aroma and flavour of every mother's magic food is the indelible effect that the brand evokes .Fast forwarding a few years, and here I am, a 16 year old gawky teenager dealing with the “hormonal locha” while wooing a girl. (well ,I had read Charles Dickens’ theory of “survival of the fittest” by then) . I was striving to be the guy who was uber-classy and cynosure of all eyes whom people admired. The first step to the evolution was a new wardrobe. What brand ,though, which would include the cool polo t-shirts, body-hugging chinoos, denims, eye-hacking belts and a gamut of pretty everything that stands for refined classiness? There were many, but a few that could hit the right chords-Lewis Phillipe, Allen Solly and a swaggy pantaloons store at the corner of my house and snap, here I am the 17 year old kid who is at the school farewell ceremony wearing the coveted Mr.Popular sash and right beside me is the same girl donned in Liva - well, my girlfriend!! Well, the school life left me with some sweet-bitter memories to cherish ,a new journey awaited me with open arms. The four years of college were replete with numerous presentations, industrial visits and seminars where I was meant to carry myself prim and proper to maintain the decorum. Hail Van Heusen! .The sleekness, grace and the comfort that the brand rendered, did the talking. And finally on the convocation day ,I graduated with a degree and a beaming smile, harbouring a million dreams in my eyes. The Peter England tuxedo I wore that day still makes me nostalgic!!

A man always dreams to have his abode someday, and my father is no exception. When his grit and perseverance paid off , he zeroed in on a cement brand --Ultra-tech cement,The Engineer’s choice.(No that’s not the  reason my engineer dad chose it!) .He wanted a brand which promises integrity and genuineness as its core values to be the definition of our house. Some days later came knocking at the door, the day I had been waiting for; my father’s birthday. Now, it was time he got what he deserved. I planned a movie, dinner at a swanky restaurant but then came in the surprise for him. I gifted him a t-shirt from a nearby Planet Fashion store ! Cut to the present, while I sit in a B-school ,all decked up in my favourite formals penning this article, my phone is ringing. Might be a session again! Well, the network is the net worth and Vodafone-Idea understands it. I gotta run!!
