For over fifty years the Aditya Birla Group have been and continue to be involved in meaningful, welfare driven initiatives that distinctively impact the quality of life of the weaker sections of society. A US$24 billion corporation employing 100,000 employees  belonging to 25 different nations. The group is shaping the India in multiple ways, engaged in 3700 villages, they have zeroed in 300 villages which they hope to morph in to model village. More than 50 villages have already become model village. Their focus areas include Education, healthcare, infrastructure etc. To ignite the spark of learning among adult women they have developed a six week program to teach them basics of reading, writing and managing households. The group also provide financial assistance in form of scholarship to foster the education of students Savitribai Dattak Pallak Yogna. In health care each year they are treating 5 lakh patients in 2800 medical camps. ABG is also training in agricultural sector teaching appropriate farming methods to improve productivity of 40,000 farmers. Surely the group is contributing for betterment of society and building India.
