Importance of ABG in my life

In the midst of a gloomy day, I got to know that I have earned enough profits on my investment done through Aditya Birla Sun life Mutual Funds. That made my day, because of which I was in a pure shopping mood. Driving my car to a nearby mall, I realized my wallet was torn out and needed a new one for sure. Then a Louis Philippe store caught my eye, whereby I saw a shining brand-new wallet. I never think twice before buying an ABG product and this time was no different. Then I went to pantaloons to experience the exclusivity and trend all under one roof, especially when it comes down to shopping I never compromise on the quality and variety. Again, an Allen Solly is all I needed to suffice my need for fashion. When I went on to pay for the five Allen Solly shirts that I bought the cashier was in awe or was bewildered to see me (I did not understand his expression though). I could not neglect and asked him what was so unusual in me?

He replied, “Sir have you seen your shirt?”. Yes, I said, “It’s a Ralph Lauren”. He followed, “Sir have you seen your jeans, wallet, the store.?”. Then I realized that it was all about ABG. My jeans were VanHeusen, wallet as you know and I was in Pantaloons. So,  after understanding his query I replied, “I don’t know how big is ABG in my life because for me ABG is life.”

Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambition.

In a world full of competition and challenges, my ambition was to make it to a good B-School to get my career to a next level. Being a Commerce student, I was not well versed with the quantitative techniques needed to crack one the toughest exam in India. Eventually there were a lot of setbacks in the early stage of my journey towards glory. I had to quit my job to shift gears and focus completely on the entrance test. It was very frustrating to take similar tests again and again. But it was a test of my perseverance and commitment. I was patient and the proverb “Try and try till you succeed” was my slogan till I achieve what I want. Ultimately the day when all the darkness in my life went off,  I saw the other end of the tunnel beyond which was just a bright future for me. I cracked an entrance test and got in to SDA Bocconi Asia Centre. Then I realised that it might be tough to achieve something outstanding in life (If you are ambitious) but it’s definitely not impossible.
