Challenges I have overcome
As a kid, I was always afraid of water because of one of the childhood tragedies. But my father was determined to take out this phobia of mine and even I had never hated water as much before that incident.
I started with joining a club. First few weeks were spent in a small pool and then later the trainer shifted me to the primary pool which had up to 11 ft depth. Gradually, I started covering horizontal same feet tracks and then moved to vertical full-length tracks. Slowly I started competing within the club. This was when I was 12 years old. I had persistently done this for 4 years to overcome my fear.
Later, I participated in many competitions representing school and college. At this point in life, I realised that persistence is thekey to overcome any challenge. Keep doing things you fear of and one day the phobia will go away. #NITIEMumbai #ABGLPWooMe
