Right from childhood, I have always been a fashion-conscious person or what you would call in the modern-day as a ‘fashion buff’. I have always loved to be well dressed and stand out amongst the masses in every context starting right from my dressing sense. I still remember my 10th birthday where I urged my parents to buy me a racer suit after watching a movie involving a racing-based plot because I felt, the dress in some way looked cool. I grew older but my love for trendy dresses never ceased to grow.

By the time you reach 10th grade, all you plan for is wearing a blazer for the 1st time for your school farewell party. I decided to get myself a fancy semi-formal blazer and it happened to be from Van Heusen. When I donned the blazer for the 1st time and walked down the school hallway, I felt nothing less than Bradley Cooper from Hangover, to be honest. Similarly, nearly all of my college wardrobe was full of tees and polos from Ralph Lauren and it is something that helped me get through my Undergraduate life keeping my fashion quotient in check. Now, even my life at MDI seems to be vastly influenced by ABG. The formal wear is from brands like Allen Solly, Peter England and of course Van Heusen whereas the smart casuals are from brands like Hackett and Ted Baker. Also, while I pen down this article, I am wearing a Ralph Lauren T-shirt. This shows that ABG has influenced my wardrobe right from my childhood.

One of the biggest challenges that I faced in my life is not scoring well in JEE despite putting in decent efforts. This was kind of a huge setback for me. This is when I decided to step up my game and boost my confidence by scoring well in engineering after my dismal JEE performance. I luckily got into one of the best engineering colleges in Mumbai, Sardar Patel College of Engineering. Here I started pretty well in the first 2 semesters by securing a spot in the top 10 students of the class. There were a few hiccups in the form of a grade point drop with the advent of core courses into the curriculum.

But just after one semester, I managed to bring things back on track and overall  I did pretty well in my engineering and was amongst the top 15 students of my class after the end of 8 semesters. This boosted my confidence quite a lot, but I was not yet satisfied. I wanted to prove myself on the bigger stage and this is when I had planned that the platform for this endeavor would be CAT. After putting in the required efforts, I finally scored a 99.22 percentile in CAT which is when I felt kind of satisfied and delighted. This is when I realized that if one plans to achieve something in life and works hard towards achieving it, he does achieve it.
