Some of India’s biggest companies only manage to cover a few top MBA campuses for recruitment to their coveted Summer Internship programs. We, at InsideIIM, don't believe that amazing talent can only be found at the handful of top campuses! The good folks at Aditya Birla Group have decided to give a chance to business schools across the country to impress them so they can add them to the roster of campuses they will be visiting for this year’s Summer Internship Placements season. ABGLP is one of the most coveted leadership programs there is for MBA students. For the longest time, they recruited only from IIM A, B, C, L, K, XLRI Jamshedpur, and ISB. Last year, IIM Indore won the ABGLP Woo Me competition and got ABG to recruit from their campus. You too stand a chance to Woo the recruitment team at ABGLP to come to your campus for Summers 2020. Take charge of the opportunity to intern with one of the most prestigious, one of India's largest, and one of the most successful conglomerates. Speak to the Placement Committee and register your campus before 30th June. It doesn’t matter what ranking your B-school has, it doesn’t matter how old or young your B-school is, it doesn’t matter in which corner of the country it is located in. This competition is open to all business schools. If your campus is able to impress the Aditya Birla Group, the Batch of 2021 will stand a chance to intern with some of India’s top businesses, rubbing shoulders with other interns from the top IIMs, and being mentored and guided by pedigreed professionals with a wealth of experience. Registration
First, register your campus here. Note: All campus registrations will be accepted only with a valid PlaceComm email ID and PoC details. Then, get your campus to woo ABGLP by sending in maximum entries.
Round I
For the first round, you have to write and publish an article on InsideIIM.com. Part A ABG touches millions in the world. It is unlikely that you have never used a product, or travelled on a road or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in some way. Its presence in your life is massive. In at least 250 words or more, tell us why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life. Research about ABG's brands and the kind of work they have done in India and the world since independence. Read entries from last year here to get an idea of what is expected of you. Part B At the core of the ABGLP program are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of what challenges they face. Tell us, in at least 250 words, how you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far. Note: The minimum percentage participation from any campus for this activity will be 20% of the total campus strength - Class of 2020 and Class of 2021. Campuses which do not have at least 20% of the total campus strength participating will NOT Qualify for the next round. For e.g., if your campus strength is 600 (300 - Class of 2020, 300 - Class of 2021) then the number of entries need to be at least 120 from your campus. Important: Only entries from a registered student ID will be counted. Entries from a PlaceComm ID or multiple entries from a single ID will be disqualified. These stories will be evaluated for the quality of the idea, uniqueness of the article/video and the unique page views that they manage to get!

Only Top 10 Campuses will be selected to go into the next round.
Round II
PART A Here’s your chance to tell ABG why they should recruit from your campus. Make a campus video highlighting why your campus is special. What are its USPs, achievements, and what makes it better than the other campuses in India? Don’t forget to mention why ABGLP should add your campus to the roster of campuses for their summer placement hiring. Upload your video on InsideIIM.com. PART B Wouldn’t it be nice to know ABG and its culture even before the company gives you a pre-placement talk? Well, your next task will take you right in the middle of it. Interview 5 ABGLP managers who are currently working at ABG and publish the interviews on InsideIIM.com. Note: You can not repeat an interview with the same ABGLP manager if he has already been interviewed by another campus.

The winning campus will have ABG as a part of its Summer Placements Roster for the Class of 2020. We will announce the results in the second week of August 2019 so the Placement Committee of the winning campus has time to prepare the batch for ABGLP and can then use this victory to attract even more high profile recruiters. ABGLP and the winning campus will decide the day of summer recruitment participation after results are declared. Please note that participation in Summers 2020 is no guarantee that ABGLP will also visit and recruit for Finals 2021. This is a one of a kind opportunity which opens a lot of doors not only from the recruiting standpoint but also the fact that you get to brand your b-school for the upcoming batches in the best way possible!
