Why is Aditya Birla Group big in your life?
From their formation to till now they have gained recognition and excellence based on their products and services. It has united people of different interests and needs to a common platform. One product that everyone and I can relate to is the Ultratech cement. I have grown watching the advertisements associated with Ultratech, which has become the core element of every home now. Ultratech also extended services like Ultratech Building Solutions, which is a one-stop-shop where one can get solutions right from planning to end. This service helped many people who are in a dilemma of whether to start and where to start. Another service that played a crucial role in my life is Idea, the telecom services, which has created an impact on the communication services in India. After joining Vodafone, it has become the largest telecom services in India. As the tag line says "An idea can change your life", it did change the lives of many people I know letting them communicate with very remote areas in our place. Coming to the Fashion and textiles I am a regular user of liva fabric wear because of its softness and quality, later on, I came to know that it is made of natural cellulose fibers which are the great thing. Allen Solly and Louis Philippe are the brand of clothes I think of whenever gifting to my siblings or cousins. The Aditya Birla center community initiatives and rural development are contributing a lot to the social and economic development of the weaker sections of the community. They partnered with the Central Government scheme of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya to educate the girl child in the long term. Unknowingly or knowingly Aditya Birla Group resides in every individual and family.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
In every individual life, there comes the point where they have to take a critical decision that challenges their future life. I am a B.Tech undergraduate of electronics and communication engineering. I am one of the two persons who got selected for the long term internship at my college. I used to love my work as it gave me a lot of opportunities to learn new things and also get to know the new way of doing things too. Everything is going the way it has planned. But at a point in time, I felt like this is not what I am aiming at, and I have got a lot more to do than what I am currently doing. The critical decision I have to make is to either continue the work as a regular employee with good pay being a fresher or pursue post-graduation, which helps me drive through my dreams. I finally decided to do an MBA, thereby not to regret later. But the big task is that I have to convince my parents to choose the path I want to go, which is a big task as already a few personal and financial problems going on. With support from my cousins and siblings, they agreed on this decision. So I left the PPO offer and started preparing for the CAT. After a year, I am here at IIM Vishakapatnam to pursue my dreams, learn and to face challenges in life furthermore as they are part of it.
