Challenges :
Challenges are a part of everyday life. No matter who the person is or how old they are, everyone faces various obstacles and challenges that make their lives difficult. And I believe one is fortunate who face any sort of difficulties and overcome instantly in the early stage of life because that makes him/her prepared for the upcoming challenges in the later stage of life.
The challenge I faced in my life was during the 2nd year of my undergrad college (NIT Trichy). When I took an initiative of starting a magazine for school students i.e. Standard 6th to Standard 12th. I pitched my idea of a magazine to five friends of mine and convinced them to join the team. After working on our idea for a period of four months, two of our team members backed out and decide not to contribute in any way because of the uncertainty they had in their mind about the plans. Later, the rest of the members did the same. It became difficult for me to manage everything right from content creation to design. After pondering on it over a couple of weeks, I decided to drop and continue my graduation. That was the time, I never realized if this wonderful experience would help me in future or not. Later, in July 2016, After completing a course on digital marketing and failing number of times during the placement process gave me new learning, perspective about life. With the prior experience I had, I decided to apply all my learning to help others in the same.
I took an initiative to start a blog for engineering students named “engineering ingress” (https://engineeringingress.wordpress.com/) wherein they can obtain information about the topics that are relevant to them, be it companies that usually visit the campus or opportunities from the analytical organization for lateral hires. But to reach among the students was a challenge again. So, I decided to hire 25 interns, after interviewing 76 candidates across 16 engineering colleges for two positions i.e. a) Social Media Marketing b) Campus Ambassador, and worked with them for 4 months (Jan’17-April’17) to let people know about the services and information we provide through our blog and facebook group.
It’s been 3 years now since we have been serving and helping students to achieve their goal through our platform.
