With a vision to become a global conglomerate and a mission to deliver superior value to its stakeholders ABG has been successful in creating a high perception of the brand. Its contribution to the Indian Economy is spread across diverse industries, like Ultratech in Construction to Pantaloons in Retail.

From the roof on our head to the clothes we wear ABG has multiple customer touch points and that is shown clearly in the Market Capitalization of ABG.  A special mention is needed for Hidalco which is the world’s largest Aluminium producing company. Values are derived in ABG through 5 core principles which are enshrined in every individual this breeds or rather fosters and environment of high superior value delivery.

My favourite brand is Van Huesen, I just really love their formal collection. It gives you a premium feel and the fabric feels nice on the skin. From every day office activities to Black tie events it has everything in their collection.

In totality Aditya Birla Group touches its customers in every way possible and gains maximum of the profit pool. Even in the initiatives taken for the betterment of the society Aditya Birla has led with an example. In today’s day and age CSR activates are mandated and forced by the government of India. Aditya birla had always invested a share of its gains for the betterment of the society and Environment.

All these factors contribute in making Aditya Birla Group and Industry Leader and an ideal company to work for.

Life is a race run like a Champion

Hard work is key to success. Even if you don’t have the talent or the skill, persistent hard work can get you what you want. I am an avid runner, whenever we start running, getting into the motion is the most difficult part. More than the physical strength that is needed to run, a strong mental health is needed.  If you keep on thinking that your body is tired and you won’t be able to complete it, the mental capacity kicks in. If you give up then it is over, but if you push yourself to achieve that extra bit in the end that really helps you build yourself.

Another strategy that I use is to break down the run into fragments, parallels to this in real life is that if you think that you have a mountain to climb, always divide the task into smaller tasks. It has two fold advantages, firstly with every completion of a smaller task there is a sense of achievement and secondly the task becomes easy to improve on. If you analyse the smaller/finer bits it gets easier to weed the errors and do an overall process improvement. I always draw my inspiration and learning’s from running it has so many learning’s. Any sort of challenge that has come across, running has always provided me with a solution. Other than that running also provides a fresh energy and a sense of accomplishment.

Maybe that is why they say life is a race, run hard as you can.
