Aditya Birla Group impacting lives since Independence
From my school days till today I’ve seen Aditya Birla Group reach new heights from their advertisements either be it of Ultra tech cement to their first eCommerce venture Abof. The transition is remarkable. Aditya Birla Group has created a special place in the industry where the company is associated with each and every sector in the society whether it be agribusiness, finance, mining, retail or telecommunications. It had impacted the lives of many individual either directly or indirectly and I’m one such individual. It all started back in the days when I was having my internship back there after my 2nd year in graduation. I got selected as an intern in Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Bank in Bhopal. The code of conduct suggested everyone be in formals to maintain the decorum in the organization. I decided to buy some formal wear before my internship begins. I went and look over some well-named brand but couldn’t find what could justify my personality in the organization. At last, I visited Peter England which fulfilled my want of buying simple and trendy clothes at affordable prices. The quality of their clothes make you feel comfortable and make your presence felt in the crowd. Secondly, the telecommunication network of Idea has definitely changed my life. It has helped me majorly during my field visit in the rural areas during my volunteering days. I’ve to give necessary information from the survey to my coordinator as and when required. The network connectivity was very poor in the local area and we had been assigned with a task where we have to submit the data of the filled in the questionnaire. But thanks to Idea we managed to complete our task on time. I’ve trusted the network of Idea from the beginning and it has not dissatisfied me even once. Aditya Birla has impacted my life as well as many other lives like me to build confidence in ourselves and prove our mettle in the industry.

Conquering challenges from ashes
I had faced a sufficient amount of challenges throughout my life. I’m an introvert and it has hampered my life from time to time. I always used to stay alone and focus on my work. I generally have few friends whom I get along and a family to talk to. After reaching in college I got to know about the importance of networking and socializing. How it is important to create a connection in real life. I started interacting with people more often. Even though I’m hesitant to take the initiative at first but later once I know them I get along very well. After my graduation, I decided to go for a solo trip to Shillong. I didn’t plan anything and wanted to go with the flow. This was one of the most important decisions of my life. I wanted to challenge myself whether I could take it and how long I could survive it. And I can’t be thankful enough to myself that I took this decision in my life. It had changed my outlook on people and society. I learned how to approach people and how to interact with them. I got to know about a new culture, their practices, their day to day routine, their food, their approach to living and how they used to handle difficult situations in their lives. After the trip, when I reached home, I sat in silence once and thought about how a few days with oneself and with someone whom you don’t know can change your life in a matter of time. With changes in personality, body language, communication and the approach towards life. I can now consider myself as a confident and positive individual in life.
