Aditya Birla Group, a name which has crossed paths with every Indian at one or the other point of time, is a huge conglomerate which creates impact and adds value to our lives collectively. When I got admission in my dream college, NMIMS Mumbai, I was all ready to come to a new city with a bitter sweet mix of dreams and anxieties with me. I was aware of the fact that MBA life serves as a simulation of the corporate world, we are heading to. We have to act like managers before becoming the proficient ones and we have to work in teams and influence others to be an effective leader. In my opinion, attire is the most important part of this role because the attire forms the first and lasting impression on the audience. Hence, in order to prepare my suitcase for this new journey, I visited Planet Fashion store which is a multi-brand store which sells in-house brands such as Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, and Peter England and other branded apparel. I got all my requirements fulfilled just under one roof. Not only it provided me ample variety to choose from but also, I saved my time because otherwise, I have to visit different brand outlets for the same. Their staff was so courteous that they understood my requirements thoroughly and then provided me with options which seemed tailor-made for my requirements. The quality of the product and its fitting make me feel comfortable whenever I happen
to wear it.
Moreover, when I moved to Mumbai, I faced severe network issues with my existing mobile network. I found it very difficult to complete my tasks and assignments in the initial stage itself. Because, in B- school, we are supposed to be on our toes and a seamless mobile connection is a pre-requisite for the same, one of my seniors advised me to switch it to Idea-Vodafone network as it is the best service provider in the area. Using Mobile Number Portability, I switched my phone number to Idea-Vodafone network and since then, ease has flowed into my life. I don’t need to find a network spot in order to get connected with my family and friends, and be available for my teammates.
This is just one story out of my life. There are many more stories within and around our lives regarding the impact of Aditya Birla Group.
