At the age of 10, that’s when my parents bought a plot in Bhopal and built the house that our family would grow up in. It has been 16 years since and it still stands tall and strong. We’ve lived in many houses and many cities over the years, but nothing has ever compared to what we have in Bhopal. After-all, the only place I call home, is fortified by Ultratech cement.
Between the age of 12 -14, when I had to travel for my basketball tournaments from Bhopal to Vishakhapatnam, Jaipur, Hyderabad or anywhere. 24 hours of a train journey seemed to be as smooth and comfortable as it could be, because it was strengthened by Hindalco’s copper creations.
At the age of 17, it was the first time I had to leave Bhopal, leave my family behind and settle down 1500 kilometers away, in the city of Vellore. Bought my first smartphone then and an Idea sim with it to constantly stay connected with my family. I’ve never felt homesick since.
At the age of 21, when campus placements were all anyone could talk about and we would be required to dress up only in the best fitting formals we had every single day, I wasn’t too worried because I knew that Pantaloons would cater to all my needs. They had it all, from the best quality pants to the chicest of blazers, a plethora of choices for the most reasonable prices.
And now, when I am 26, as I sit back and reflect, I realize that Aditya Birla has managed to touch every aspect of my life. Like the strong screen on my smartphone that won’t break no matter how clumsy I get. The life insurance policy that helps me invest for my future and my family’s future. My recent obsession with the Liva fabric and how many kurtas I own because of it. The very fact that I get electricity seamlessly at home or anywhere in India because of Aditya Birla’s state of the art insulators. Anything and everything, big or small, needs or wants, the Aditya Birla Group has brilliantly contributed to and improved it all.
To say that the Aditya Birla Group is big in my life or as a matter of fact, in anyone else’s life, would be an understatement.
