Recently, Aditya Birla Group has launched BizLab Fintech 2019. This initiative will help innovative startups solve financial problems of the world along with Aditya Birla Capital.
Aditya Birla group has always supported startups, but this is the first time they are venturing into fintech. The importance of fintech is increasing day by day. This initiative will boost the digital and tech arm of Aditya Birla Group
Along with it, BizLabs is trying to help startups in scaling by providing access to, Aditya Birla Capital’s (ABC) scale and reach, access to business CXOs on Day 1, pilot opportunity at ABC within 90 days, access to VCs/ investment ecosystem and also they could get investment from Aditya Birla Group
The scope of the program spans across fintech spectrum, including InsurTech, InvesTech, Lending, Analytics & Productivity, etc. Under the programme 17 specific problem statements have been identified.
The objective of the programme is to reach out to few innovative fintech firms who can leverage tech and help ABC address specific issues with the help of advanced capabilities like AI, ML and smart computing. The platform is for startups with proven, existing technology and entry level fintech firms may not find the programme suitable. Startups that have raised up to Series C in funding are eligible to participate.
