Part A: Aditya Birla Group has been a part of millions of Indians. ABG has a huge of chunk of miraculous brands tied up under their belt, which created a huge difference in our lives. Their products are known for their supreme quality at the price that can be afforded by majority of Indians. Aditya Birla Group has always been a huge presence in my life as my first Cellular Sim Card was Idea and I was indebted to ABG group to provide me a great cellular service at a very affordable cost. Their retails brands such as Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, Pantaloons have always been my top choice for both my regular and sharp fashion choices. Aditya Birla Group through its Ultratech Cement has given the strength to my home and has been pivotal in giving me safe living condition.

The group has also been a source of bread and butter for more than 1,20,000 employees across 42 countries and their life depends on everything that happens in this organization. The importance of this group also immensely goes beyond its direct stakeholders as the offerings of this group is directly or indirectly affects every Indian life. This can be seen from its massive presence in metals (Hindalco), cement (Ultratech), carbon black (Columbian Chemicals Co) etc. businesses which are highly involved in Indian Infrastructure Development.

I believe that Aditya Birla Group has been highly successful in enriching Indian lives and will keep shining like a quasar to impart value to us and to our future generations to come.

Part B: Aditya Birla Group has always competed in the aggressive Indian Market and has been successful in standing out and creating its presence as a star of the nation. Similarly, I faced huge problems in my life when I was working hard to become a good hockey player, but I overcame that and became a very good West Zone India level hockey player. I started practising my interest in hockey when I was in Class 6th.  The hockey stadium was 17 kilometres from my home and my family didn’t have enough money to pay for my daily transport to and fro from the stadium. But I had a zeal to learn the game and used to go to stadium cycling every day. This was a very tough activity as I used to do it daily in scorching heat of Rajasthan with temperature around 45-degree Celsius. My team mates and coach always appreciated my commitment and I used to give my 100 percent after reaching the stadium. This never say die attitude which I built in my early age is what I carried forward and fought head on to all the challenges which I faced in my life. I am also very thankful to my parents to motivate me from start to never be afraid of crisis and fight them as this highly shaped me as a person. I believe this trait became a part of me and was visible during my graduation and professional career.

Seeing the amount of scope of learning and tough situations which I am expecting to get during my two years at a premium B-school, I believe that due to this trait of mine I am ready to face any challenge that I am going to get in these two years and even ahead.
