Aditya Birla Group, a brand that has been there with India since 1857. A brand that stood with India in both good and bad times. A brand that is growing continuously with India’s global ambitions.
Aditya Birla Group plays a massive role in my life. Whatever instances I can recall, in some of the other way links to any product or any service of Aditya Birla Group. During my childhood, we used to live in a city in the Maharashtra state of India called Pune. My father was a Sargent in Airforce and used to work on radars and fighter jets. Every morning we used to pack our lunch and go to the office and school. Now that I introspect, I see that Aditya Birla group was a part of my life in both massive and microscopic ways. From the aluminum foil in which we used to take our lunch to the fighter jet tires, everything had a big contribution from Aditya Birla.
After a point of time, we shifted to a city in UP called Meerut and we decided to live in our own house. That house is not only a building, it’s a part of my family as we all saw it getting built brick by brick waiting for it to be completed. When it came to the choice of cement, my father considered no option other than Ultra Tech Cement. He knew that if we want the house of our dreams to be there with us for generations, there is only one brand we can trust. In my family, trust is just a synonym of Aditya Birla Group. We slowly started stabilizing and decided to buy the first car in our family. The tires used in the car are a product of Birla Carbon. Everything from big to small has a contribution from Aditya Birla. The electricity that comes to our homes is because of the insulators manufactured by Aditya Birla as Grasim industries are the 4th largest producer of insulators.
Time flew and I had to shift to Chennai for my graduation, it was a big step for me as it meant lots of shopping and eventually booking the train tickets. We bought all brand new clothes from different brands which all come under the umbrella of Aditya Birla Group. These are one of the few brands which have reached a city like Meerut and I was amazed to see the quality and quantity of product that we get there. I bought a new phone and without realizing that Aditya Birla plays a big role in that as well as Hindalco aluminum is used to make cover glass for smartphones.
The time has come and I boarded a train to start my journey where again Aditya Birla was playing a major role since a large share of the copper requirement of Indian Railways is fulfilled by Birla Copper. I reached Chennai and bought a new Idea sim which again meant that Aditya Birla is there for connecting you to your loved ones as well.
I went on a trip to a hill station named Coorg during my college, our car broke down in the middle of the night. We were 6 friends in the middle of the jungle with no signals in mobile phones. We were scared as it was a festival season and almost nobody on the roads. All the mobile phones were almost dead except my Vodafone which was able to connect us to a mechanic and we could get out of the situation. That day I realized the importance of the trust that my father had in Aditya Birla and even I started believing in the group since then.
Fast forward to my post-graduation, here I am sitting in my college library working on a presentation and writing this article wearing a Van Hussein suit knowing the trust and brand loyalty associated with Aditya Birla.
