Aditya Birla Group - The Fashion Power House
The Aditya Birla Group (ABG) is a conglomerate power house having a net worth of approximately 45 Billion Dollars and needs no introduction when it comes to being a well known and established group not only in India but across the globe. From building houses and expressways to connect lives; to fresh wrap, a foil that every student can relate to, ABG has established its significance across every facet in our life.
For me personally, the Apparel & Retail Verticals within the ABG has attracted me the most. With a whole host of brands such as Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England etc. and its retail outlet of Pantaloons have changed the way people view fashion and has transformed them into confident individuals. With a distinguished set of Brand networking catering to a large sections of the society, right from Pantaloons Retail for the common man to that of what most Business Executives prefer i.e. Louis Philippe, ABG has established itself as a ‘True Fashion Power House’.
Me along with my family are some kind of Loyalists to both Peter England and Louis Philippe. We truly believe that the quality offered at that price point is absolutely unmatched. Traditionally from being just a so called ‘Formals Brand’, Peter England has revamped itself into a force to recon with. Personally, a good 50-60% of my overall shopping across the apparels section is now dominated with Peter England. It gives me the all I need, under one roof.
Kudos to the team at ABG for bringing out such pocket friendly priced superior fashion wear to the masses. It has certainly touched my life in the most positive way and helped me to be more confident with what I wear. As I am filling out for this form, I am actually wearing a shirt that I had purchased from Peter England. That’s how much of an impact Peter England has had in my life.

Apna Time Aayega – My Mantra to Overcome all the challenges faced
One of the biggest challenges that I have faced in life is Depression. For almost 3 years between 2015 to 2018 I was getting pulled into one of the most dreadful illness that any human can be affected with. I was not able get through my CA-Final examinations even after reaching ever so close in all my attempts. Coming from a family of Toppers and over achievers of some sorts, the pressure that was added on was beyond comparison. I was literally called a disgrace amongst relatives and family friends.
With literally no support none what so ever, I was fighting a battle with the world. However, the only thing that kept me ashore and not make wrong choices was the knowledge I had and my work ethics which had brought me a lot of appreciation in the organization I worked in. I kept working hard and kept gaining knowledge. Eventually I did succeed though not in my CA Final Examination but by heading a group of 20 people in the organization of which 3 of whom were Chartered Accountants. Knowledge backed by hard work does payoff. In the due course of time, this alongside with a lot more efforts and help from friends, I did seek medical help and today I can proudly say that I am free from Depression! This is the 2.0 version of my life that I am living at the moment and intend to make every second count.
