It all started with a dream, a dream to “take India to the world”. The dream is now a vision, a vision of every individual of this country. How was this possible? To ignite such feeling in every individual. Aditya Birla group has been an epitome of service towards the nation and its people.
Impact of Aditya Birla Group in my life
Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has been a very unique part of my life. The service provided by ABG always stood out and has impacted even the smallest moment of this rat race. For a school going kid the best part in the day is to have the food warmly wrapped in the piece of Aluminum foil. Knowingly or unknowingly Hindalco and Freshwrapp has been the life savior for mothers. We trust this product blindly because we know that this world class product is made in India.
The beginning of all the good things in my life started with Peter England, let it be any function to be attended or any issue of gifting anything to someone, Peter England, Pantaloons and Van Heusen were always there. I never took the concern of Friday dressing too seriously, because Allen Solly never disappointed. Two years ago my father was going through his retirement plans and the first and foremost thing on to do list was to build a home. The designs were not that hard to be sorted out, the cement was the major concern as a home is built one and it’s the biggest dream of a middle class person. We never hesitated in selecting Ultratech cement as it was the engineer’s choice also and we knew all things should be special as we were building something beautiful.
Birla Sun life insurance has got all the members of my family insured, because our dream is their commitment. I have been a part of an NGO Prayaas India during my college days. Prayaas India helps the unprivileged kids of Sindri, study for free and get admission in good schools. After opting for job and further then for higher educations in Indian Institute of foreign Trade, it’s hard to manage such things. But recently I heard about Teach for India campaign, an initiative by Aditya Birla Group, and this is how things are done. Aditya Birla Group has always been a very special part of my life, both through association and inspiration.
Overcoming the challenges in life
The first time I was forced to get out of my comfort zone was when I had to join a renowned organization for work. First time ever in my life I was coming out of Jharkhand to a place almost thousand kilometers away from my home. First time in my life I landed in a metropolitan city, which was in the course of my journey. I reached my destination, everything was opposite of what I have been familiar with, new city, new places and new faces. I joined my organization; keeping a low profile just to get familiar with others I started my career.
Just days have passed in this course my immediate boss resigned, leaving behind me as the only hope for a team with whom I have barely been acquainted with. Everything seemed to be in a chaos, but deep inside I knew that situation like these defines a person. My seniors showed some faith in me and gave me the charge of the area. I was very young for it, but I started building my team. I never hesitated in learning from anyone and showed faith in anything they did. I started talking, I started learning, and my team started performing. It was never easy starting from scratch, we failed, we learned but we never stopped. The team grew stronger day by day and in the upcoming days we started performing extraordinarily. The operation excellence, quality commitment and line optimization everything was in place. We were the highest performing team of the organization, my team was in place, and the absence of any individual was not going to affect it this time.
I planned to move forward for my higher educations at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, but nothing got affected by my decision because the core of the team, the spirit was in place. Nothing is impossible if you trust yourself and you trust tour team. One should never hesitate in taking challenges, risking self, because the night is darkest before the dawn. Now the course of life of my colleagues and me is in the right track, because we overcame the problems to move towards the future. As we all know that “the future is always exciting. And I am ready for it.”
