1- Amazing faculty – Most of the faculty at IIM Nagpur are from IIM Ahmedabad and a few from other premium institutes. Needless to say the students have access to some of the best faculties of the country. The class discussions are extremely vibrant and learning is fun. Moreover, the professors give time to the students outside of the classrooms as well, where students can enquire about anything related to class or otherwise.
2- Field immersion Program – The field immersion is a unique program organized at IIM Nagpur for the students. For fifteen days, the students work at a private or government organization and help them in solving their day-to-day problems through the learning acquired by them in the classes. This program provides valuable experience to the students and they are better prepared for the internship program.
3- Case-study method – The case study method is used by many premier institutes of the world and is a great method of teaching. Here the students are put in the role of the people who were faced with a problem and then students come up with their solutions. It provides a good learning experience for the students when they see the problem through the eyes of business leaders.
4- Events – The students of IIM Nagpur participate in many events. Events are organized throughout the year by the various clubs at IIM Nagpur like Kubera, Who Wants To Be A Marketeer, Opera etc. In addition to these various sports events are organized with even an IPL like bidding of players.
5- Celebrating festivals – The students at IIM Nagpur believe in celebrating all the festivals. The students had a great time celebrating Holi, Diwali, and Christmas etc. It is an amazing experience for the students when they whole-heartedly celebrate the spirit of these festivals.
