The Financial Times MBA rankings haven't been great in the past few years for Indian B-schools. Last year, all of the IIMs slipped out of the top fifty with two of them being in the top 60, including IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. But that's changed. In the Financial Times MBA rankings of 2024, the IIMs have made up several positions over the last year.  Two IIMs - IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad are in the top 50 B-Schools in the world. What's more, XLRI Jamshedpur has made its debut in the rankings, and IIM Calcutta and IIM Lucknow have jumped up several positions.  But what about ISB, which had been slipping in rankings for the past couple of years? ISB is India's top B-school and has improved in rankings | FT MBA rankings 2024

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has, once again, been ranked as India's top management institute in the FT MBA rankings of 2024. The institute comes in at 31st place, an improvement of eight places compared to last year's 39th, and an improvement of one place compared to the year before that.

This year, 4 IIMs feature in the FT MBA rankings 2024, with IIM Lucknow breaking into the top hundred for the second time. IIM Indore, which made its debut in 2021, has unfortunately not made it to the top 100 B-Schools in 2024. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have significantly improved their rankings since last year, with the former improving by ten positions. IIM-B has risen in the rankings by five positions but has still a long way to go before reclaiming its glory of being in the global top-forty like it did in 2021.

It's a matter of great pride that three Indian B-schools are among the top 50 globally.
