IIM-Shillong’s 15th batch had 283 students graduating with an average salary of CTC 26.1 LPA reporting a slight decrease from 2023. 79% of the batch consisted of male candidates and about 45% hailed from an engineering background. 104 students of the batch were freshers. 87 recruiters hired from the campus with 46 new companies visiting the campus. The highest salary reported at the IIM-Shillong campus is 71.5 LPA offered for an IT and Analytics role. The average CTC for Top 20% and Top 50% have witnessed a decline from 2023 of 9.5%.
The number of companies hiring from the campus increased significantly from 63 in 2023 to 87 in 2024.

Consulting and finance remained the most sought-after domains for the students. More than 50% of the batch accepted job offers from these two domains. IT became the highest-paying domain followed by consulting and sales and marketing. (Based on the highest salary offered)
