Pranav Badgujar is an ambitious young individual hailing from Jalgaon, Maharashtra. After completing his class 12th education, he went to Raipur, Chattisgarh, to pursue biotechnology engineering at NIT Raipur. He has worked as a senior analyst at Capgemini for 21 months in fields ranging from big data analytics to software development.He is currently pursuing his MBA from the prestigious IIM Lucknow. He is also involved in numerous NGOs ranging across various fields like children's rights (e.g. CRY), primary education (e.g. Pratham), hygiene (e.g. Goonj), environment conservation (e.g. Green Society), social responsibility (e.g. Red Cross Society), etc. since his childhood. In his spare time during the MBA course, he also teaches a blind student VARC and LRDI to help him prepare for the CAT exam.
Pranav Badgujar, a compassionate leader, showcased his initiative to improve the lives of tribal women during his MBA. Witnessing their hardships, he facilitated the setup of a poultry unit, empowering them to generate income and gain financial relief. This experience not only helped the women but also contributed to Pranav's personal development, making it a cherished moment in his MBA journey.
His leadership skills evolved through active participation in group projects, case competitions, and extracurricular activities. Transitioning from a role of a "doer" to a leader, he learned to leverage team strengths for successful project completion. These skills proved valuable during his summer internship at American Express, where he made informed and strategic decisions in a dynamic business environment.
Pranav plans to leverage his MBA skills, honed through multitasking, effective time management, and collaboration in group projects. His improved communication skills, honed through class participation and case study discussions, position him to convey complex ideas simplistically to colleagues and clients.
The technology sector is Pranav's preferred industry post-MBA, aligning with his background and passion for exploring new solutions. With prior experience in IT and a summer internship at American Express, he believes his diverse skill set makes him a good fit for technology-based IT and analytics industries.
