- The highest salary for TISS Mumbai's HRM and LR batch of 2022 stood at INR 42.09 lakhs, increasing by a whopping 44 percent over the previous year
- The average salary at TISS stood at INR 23.97 lakhs, increasing by 22 percent over the previous year
- The median salary stood at INR 22.50 lakhs, increasing by 19 percent over the previous year
- In 2022, 55 students (or 85 percent of the batch) from the HRM and LR batch at TISS Mumbai received packages of INR 20 lakhs and above
- A staggering 50 percent of the batch received pre-placement offers (PPOs)
- A total of 42 firms made offers to the HRM and LR batch of 2022, and the institute witnessed participation from 5 first-time recruiters
- Top brands on campus included Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, TAS, Nestle, HUL, ITC, Flipkart, Amazon amongst many others
- Maximum number of candidates will be joining in the domain of Consulting, followed by FMCG/FMCD, Conglomerates and Engineering/Technology
TISS Placements 2022 - Highest Salary up by 44 Percent, Average Salary up by 22 Percent
In 2022, TISS Mumbai witnessed a tremendous 44 percent increase in the highest salary offered, a 22 percent increase in the average salary offered, and a 19 percent increase in the median salary offered, recording a very successful placements season for the HRM and LR batch.
The average of the top-10 percent of salaries offered stood at INR 37.22 lakhs, while the average of the top-25 percent of salaries stood at INR 32.21 lakhs, increasing by 36 percent and 28 percent respectively.
TISS Placements 2022 - Key Recruitment Highlights and Sector Wise Recruiters
- The process witnessed participation of regular recruiters like Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Citi, Dell Technologies, Deloitte India, Flipkart, HUL, ITC, Marico, Nestle, RPG, TAS, TCS, amongst many others
- Accenture Strategy, BrowserStack, Chargebee, Power Finance Corporation, Providence were all first-time recruiters
- Aditya Birla Group rolled out the highest number of offers followed by Accenture Strategy, Flipkart, Infosys Consulting, PFC & Samsung R&D
- Companies like EY, GAIL and HDFC Bank were back on campus after a hiatus
