XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi NCR celebrate a significant milestone as they proudly announce 100% placements for the graduating class of 2022-24 across their Two-year PGDM (BM) and Two-year PGDM (HRM) programs. In a resounding success, all 503 students have received job offers from a diverse pool of 154 domestic and international recruiters. The Batch of 2024 received 519 domestic offers and 1 International offer. The placement process unfolded in two phases, namely the Lateral Recruitment Process (LRP) and the Campus Recruitment Process (CRP), ensuring equitable opportunities for candidates with and without prior work experience.  Notably, 33.39% of the cohort received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), highlighting their outstanding performance during summer internships.  Here is a detailed analysis of the XLRI Placements Report 2024. Comparative Analysis  Highest Domestic Salary: In 2023, the highest domestic salary stood at INR 78.2 lakhs from the ITES sector. Comparatively, in 2024, the highest domestic offer decreased to INR 75 lakhs, albeit from the BFSI sector, indicating a slight decrease from the previous year. Average Salary: The average salary saw a decline from INR 32.7 lakhs in 2023 to INR 29.89 lakhs in 2024, indicating a marginal decrease of about 8.5%. Median Salary: The median salary was at INR 30 lakhs in 2023 and at INR 28 Lakhs in 2024, indicating a marginal decline of about 6.66%. Sector- Wise Turnout  As per the XLRI Placements Report 2024, the primary areas with job offerings included Consulting, ITES, E-Commerce, Sales & Marketing, and General Management. Consulting firms accounted for 26% of the offers, while ITES, E-Commerce, and Sales & Marketing represented 20%, 17%, and respectively. Accenture Strategy, BCG, Amazon, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, and Bajaj Auto emerged as the top recruiters, extending the highest number of offers.
