‘Roti, Kapda aur Makan’ are the basic amenities as we Indians say it and Aditya Birla Group has in one way or another has helped us to get the same. I will touch on some of them.
Everyone has heard of the Ultratech Cement and most of us have used it before. People know it by cement of engineer’s choice. Annual numbers reflect the same as UltraTech is the largest cement player in India and the fifth largest on the world stage. The trend will continue looking at the Government’s thrust on infrastructure development, housing, interest rate subvention scheme on housing loans, the development of smart cities, among other projects, beam a good signal to the cement sector. This is just one-way ABG has helped us build strong home, institutes and offices.
First impression is the last impression and we all agree to it. To put the best foot forward one gets decked up in best fitting and comfortable clothes. Aditya Birla Group offers a plethora of brands to choose from that too for any occasion one can think of. You can remember some brands offered by ABG by this sentence, ‘Van Heusen’ goes to ‘Peter England’ to understand the secret behind staying ‘Forever21’.
Lastly, ‘Ye dil mange More!’ and obviously ABG has it. is the retail arm of Aditya Birla Group, a $43 billion corporation. The company ventured into food and grocery retail sectors in 2007. Its presence across the country under the brand with two formats - Supermarkets and Hypermarkets. There are currently 523 Supermarkets and 20 Hypermarkets and aims to offer a shopping experience that delivers unbeatable value and quality.
These are just the few ways in which Aditya Birla Group has made a bid impact in my life. Thankyou ABG!
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
I believe to do anything in this world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering ang thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can. I still remember my first attempt at swimming I was standing next to pool wondering how deep is it, will I be able to swim through or at least catch hold of the bar? With in a split second I took my decision and jumped. It was like the Neil Armstrong’s reiterating in background, “one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” Though in my case it was a giant leap for myself. That’s what has always pushed me to learn more.
I consider my knowledge circle similar to a circle drawn by a torch light on a dark background. It is those vague boundaries which are currently my reach of knowledge. I always try to push my boundaries to gain more experience. Be it travelling to new places, interacting with different people or exploring food dishes. My three-word mantra is ‘Explore, Learn and Apply’. Explore as much as you can and as fast as you can because you only live once. Learn from what you do and what others do and lastly, knowledge only becomes useful when you apply it to solve some difficulties. So, in the end the circle of life will grow bigger and bigger to spread the brightness all around. Be like sun vibrant, spreading brightness, and with global vision.
