How often does it happen that you meet a person you hit the right chords and your wavelength matches so quickly? Well I met a few people during my initial days and came across the same situation -
Vatsal Doshi
Korean by face, born and brought up in Kolkata in a ‘gujju’ family, he has multi dimensional traits which certainly reflect in his personality. From managing his father’s business as a typical ‘gujju seth’ to working as a fast food outlet manager in Melbourne during his under-graduate. This varied experience of working in different roles reflects in him and anyone can easily gauge this while interacting with him.
Rajan Harkare
I like to call him ‘baba’ but he is a modern baba as one can spot him with different girls in the campus. He is an IIT graduate who doesn’t like to be called an IIT graduate because he is the rock star of our batch as baba can play guitar, baba is also a singer and a fitness enthusiast. He is an explorer who wants to explore life in the pursuit of the same he had spent a night in a cave and in another stance he had spent 4 hours at a railway station pretending to be a beggar. What connects us is our zeal for learning.
Honey
Yes, you read it right; his name is just Honey. No puns intended but he is the guy who knows guys as he is amongst those few in our batch who knows most of the people of a batch. His interpersonal skills are quite evident from this fact itself. He is another guitarist and singer of our batch and also a good Table Tennis player.
Jadeja Yogeshvarsinh Kiritsinh
Now let me introduce one of the most colourful persons of our batch popularly known as ‘Yogi’ and like the length of his name the list of his deeds or rather mischievous deeds is even longer. He is a typical ‘gujju’ boy who has enjoyed ‘Dandiya Raas’ quite a few times. He is a person who speaks out his heart and shares his ‘‘deeds’’ of the past very openly ‘if you know what I mean’. Yogi is one of the most curious batch mates we have and it’s also reflected in the knowledge he has cross various domains. And yes you guessed it right he is related to Sir Jadeja and he is the Sir Jageja of naive boys like me at IIM Trichy.
Which ABG company I would want to work for and why?
I would like to work with Birla Sun Life AMC, Mumbai. They are involved in analyzing the performance of Indian equities which is in sync with my area of interest, field in which I want to specialize, my professional qualification i.e. Chartered Accountant and the profession CFA that I am currently pursuing along with MBA.
