“Insecurities”, a word that doesn’t roll off our tongue too easily, when we talk about ourselves.
I was no different. It took some time, before I could be honest with myself about how I battled with body-image issues (Hint: I ate my feelings. :x)
Shopping was always a task that I felt was specifically designed to frustrate me, where just one trip was never, ever enough; and that just made me despair some more.
So, if shopping for regular clothes was such a headache, you could imagine my horror when I realized that it was time for me to start looking for business formals because college interviews were right around the corner.
It was at this time, that my best friend recommended Allen Solly to me.
The next bit is probably a little predictable. But I swear, it’s true!
As soon as I walked into one of the Solly stores… I fell in love.
And yes! Surprise, surprise!
I found the perfect outfit on the very first trip.
(P.S. It was so comfortable; I wanted to live in it forever.)
And, the cherry on top of the cake?
To this date, I feel more confident than I’ve probably ever felt, every time I put on that pair of formals, and I’ve never shopped for corporate wear, from anywhere else, ever, and neither do I plan on it.
