From an Idea to change your life, to the Vodafone Pug that follows you, Aditya Birla Group has always been a part of my life. Like building up a strong foundation using Ultratech cement, Aditya Birla Group has built up a strong, solid and loyal customer base for itself. It offers a wide variety of products to a range of customers with varied income groups according to their convenience. Let it be the UltraTech cement that I worked with for a major part of my engineering in college and my job or the Vanheusen and Allen Solley Clothes that I searched after admission into Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), or my search for Akkriti and Rangmanch clothes in Pantaloons outlets or that Ralph Lauren wedding gown that every girl dreams of wearing in their head, Aditya Birla Group is and always will be a part of my life. Not just mine, most of my friends and family who I’ve shopped with around Peter England or Louie Philippe or Forever21 or the kids who love to wear Poppers, Chalk or Agile, Aditya Birla Group is always present. Aditya Birla Group is one of the few companies who not only have due diligent care for their wide customer base also care more about the society and keep searching for ways to give back to them, working with government bodies and many organisations like WHO, National Skills Development Council, SEWA, Smile Foundation, Childline India Foundation and many more to provide Healthcare, Education, Sustainable livelihood programs and building infrastructure through community initiatives and CSR activities. The care, responsibility and the sense of trust AB group has makes it a dream everyone in the industry want to be a part of.
“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts”- said Winston Churchill. In the words of Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, “Failure is not fatal. Failure is inevitable. If you don’t fail. It perhaps means you aren’t taking enough risks.” Life keeps throwing things your way, it’s up to you how to perceive those things. If everyone takes falling down from a cycle as a failure, no one would be riding a cycle later, it is how you dust yourself up and give it time and start trying again. There were many instances in my life both minor and major where I was ready to give up, but it is how I stood up and faced them that made me reach into this prestigious school and I believe it will also be how I will be successful in the future. Travelling from school to school nearly every two years were traumatic to a me as a child, but it is how I came out of the cocoon of trauma to make new friends and get accustomed to new places and new people is what helped in the later stages of my life to adjust in places, let it be Warangal, Delhi or Kolkata I always welcomed it with an open mind. Likewise, when facing deadlines and timelines you learn about organising and prioritising, when you keep doing things, you might fail but the failure will teach you more important and life changing truths that even success might not teach.
