Challenges are an inevitable part of our lives. It is the challenges that make us stronger each passing day. If life would have been all easy going, there would not have been any emotions such as happy, sad, angry, etc. Having said that, we still want a smooth life. But alas, we don't get it.
My life was pretty the same with all small ups and downs. But the time came in my career when I decided that I would want to pursue management. The task was not as easy as the decision. With a full-time job of 9+ hours and a total travel time of approximately 3+ hours each day, I did not know how to materialize my dream. But I knew that I had to prepare for the exams to get closer to my dream.
I used to take time out of my lunch breaks and sleeping hours; I didn't go out with my friends and family for a year, stayed at home during holidays and weekends and prepared myself. It wasn't always easy saying no to friends and family but I had to do it since I didn't get much time on weekdays. The challenges I faced were overcome (or so I thought) when I finally got a call from SVKM's NMIMS, Mumbai.
On reaching here, I realized that the challenges had just begun. It was the first time that I was staying without my parents. I didn’t know how to cook or do the daily household chores to survive. I didn't like the tiffin services' food either. With all the classes and assignments going on in college, it was very difficult for me to manage both the places for the 1st two weeks. But from the 3rd week onward, I started getting a hold of things. I managed the time efficiently. After all, the ambitions are mine and it is me who has to figure out a way to achieve them.
