The Aditya Birla Group logo crystallises fascinating story of their change and transformation. But little did I realized how closely has their story of change inter-weaved mine. ABG has been touching millions of lives with the radiance of the rising sun illuminating laughter and joy subtly adding values and purpose to it. Silently stepping into my life ,it has converged with every little thing from the Freshwrapps I use to pack my tiffin assuring health and hygiene to the clothes I wear from the brands Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Van Heusen that resonates my personality and let me elegantly stand out.
The US $44.3 billion corporation, further strengthens its roots deep into my lives with the Ultratech cement assuring strength to my childhood house and also to my memories. The Aditya Birla Capital protecting me with the best Financial Services and Vodafone Idea, connecting me with my family and friends far away fledging the sense of security in the strange city of Kolkata.
But when it comes to making BIG in my life, its not just about the ABG brands that surround me but the ideas and values that ABG hold. Believing that Great businesses are never built on the quick sands of opportunism and strongly adhering to values even at the risk of growing at a slower pace is what makes the group win smiles and hearts. Striving hard to make a difference and bridging the gap from the “Ever new” to the “Forever Beautiful” by its majestic Bandra Worli Sea Link project to breaking records and setting new benchmarks with the Dhar Cement Works in my native state, makes my association with ABG even more inspiring.
I still remember when my father used to quote Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla to inspire me and motivate me when I was small. My derivations from the adhered values is what makes it bigger than big in my life.
How I overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.

With my little eyes full of big dreams and aspirations in a small town of Dewas, I have always tried to continuously learn new things and put up my best in whatever I do. Commencing from a time where public speaking used to scare me, transcending to a time when it actually became my strength, I always strive hard to overcome my fears.
Shelling out from the cocoon of my small town, I then went out to prepare for the competitive examinations in Indore. I regularly used to cover a distance of 40kms from my town to the big city trying to utilize the tickles of my clock to effectively manage my studies. Hard Work and perseverance is what I adhere to which made me get admission to one of the most prestigious institutes of central India, SGSITS.
My college further provided me the opportunity to challenge my horizons and garnish the unexplored aspects of my personality. I looked forward now to own the responsibility and also the authority. I became the drama committee head of my college and went on to win competitions registering victory at state level. Meanwhile I always tried to expand the widths and the depths of my knowledge challenging my comfort.
The last summer of my college landed me with a job in Amdocs. But my sweet success did have the panorama of the bitter failures that preceded it. A series of rejection and still upholding myself strong was what made me sail through.
Now the time was to breathe out of the pond and I came to the vibrant city of Pune. The nature of responsibility now had shifted. What now was necessary was to question and to make the difference. And I went on to challenge the long working hours, the non achievable deadlines, incorrect estimates given to the developers in my organisation till I could get the things in place for me and my colleagues. Meanwhile I also had been putting my blood and sweat to manage my studies for a leap in my career on realising my inclination towards management.
Years of hard work, sleepless nights and multiple failures, finally made me reach to my dream college IIFT. What I did was simply BELIEVING IN RISING AGAIN.
“The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall.”
