Part A: Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life
I come from a town situated in Maharashtra. I still remember my childhood days when I used to play in our rented house. It was small one. By looking at friend’s bigger houses with more space to play, I used to complain to my father. Of course at that age I couldn’t know about hassle one has to undergo for building own house for middle class family.
Finally day arrived when we started construction of our house. Construction Engineer recommended us Ultratech cement. I still remember when first time I came across Ultratech cement bag. I asked many questions to family members about the same. From that time I got connected to the brand. It has proven the tagline “The Engineer’s Choice”. Till date we never faced any problem with our home. This is the trust Aditya Birla Group has built over years of excellence.
As after 12th I moved to new city for higher education. Those days many telecom companies were providing 3G data services. But after trying I found only Idea cellular is providing uninterrupted network with reasonable price. Whether I am in city or in town, be it any season Idea never disappoints me with network. Now as I know about how large Aditya Birla group is i.e. from merchandise to telecom and how they are impacting million lives through Corporate Social Responsibility, it has surely made a special place in my heart.
Part B: How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far
During my last year of engineering, just before final exam unfortunately I met with an accident. There were sever injuries to my head and eyes. After getting discharge from hospital I went to home as doctor suggested complete bed rest for 20 days. My exam was just a month ahead of this incident. There were also practical exams and project presentation. I was feeling very restless that I was not able to study properly and prepare for examination. I tried to study by sitting on bed but due to neck injury it was difficult to sit for more than 15 minutes.
Out of frustration I was losing my self-confidence. Finally I was searching for option to study and decided to listen audio/video files of subject content. Here Idea helped me a lot by providing seamlessness and speed as their stated values. I completed my most of the study by listening content online. After 20 days I joined college but with confidence and preparation. I recovered well from injuries. In final exams, I scored well and also completed project without any hassle and also joined office within few days. When I was planning my CAT preparation due to busy work schedule and commute time again faced problem with preparation. This time also I used previous way and used mobile phone for most of the study. Scored good marks in CAT. It was my ambition to pursue MBA course from renowned management institute. I completed my ambition by taking admission in National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai (NITIE).
