Louis Phillipe, the only brand which fits perfectly my body structure, occupies much of my wardrobe. The best part about this brand is that it is trendy, available in various colours and importantly lasts longer. I usually feel sad when I have to remove one of Louis Phillipe shirts from my wardrobe either because it has gone out of trend or ripped. I have a been loyal  to this brand to this brand from my schooling days to my MBA career and would remain so in near future.

Being a civil engineer I always aspired to work for Ultratech cement, the largest grey and white cement manufacture in India. My first connect with Ultratech was through a “Ultratech -Sparkling star contest”, a state level competition held at LDCE, graduation college, where my team presented on “Chemical attacks on concrete” in 2017.Second connect with brand happened through campus engagement in NMIMS for summer placement wherein I got to understand the company well and its milestone. Third connect with Ultratech hapened when my team worked on a strategy project of Ultratech, outlining future five-year strategy by using frameworks such as Porter’s five forces, Internal factor evaluation and QSPM matrix. This project helped understand how Ultratech is differentiating in industry by venturing into Ultratech Building Solutions and the only company with strong presence in all regions of India. Ultratech also continues to remain cost leader if we go by comparing other peers in industry on  EBITA/tonne metric. Ultratech  uses its core-competency of integrating other acquired plants ramping up its efficiency to EBITA/tonne of 1000 vis-à-vis 870 of industry.

Thank you Aditya Birla Group for products and Kumar Mangalam Birla for inspiring a upcoming-generation through the conduct of businesses.

Now coming to how I approach challenges in life to achieve my ambition.

The success mantra for me so far has been a potion of greed to achieve something big in life, hard-work, learning and improvising  from mistakes  and undying optimism. The two big challenges in life were scoring good marks in 12th standard and getting an admission in top B-school in India. On both these occasions when the first step was to be taken, the goal was far and seemed tough enough. Multiple tests before exams in 12th and B-school entrance exams, helped me understand the shortcomings and areas of improvement. Many a times scores were not too mark but the greed to reach goal there kept me pushing harder. The gateway to success mantra i.e. hard work and persistence had been identified earlier in life by me when  I was in my school days. With every milestone achieved in life be it scoring 91% in 12th to getting into NMIMS to achieving a National finalist in HUL Carpe Diem-5 and Campus Winner in J&J Quest, to getting rewarded with appreciation from Mullen Lowe Lintas-Dominos India, the belief in this potion of success  strengthened.

The challenge in 12th was to maintain a fine balance between scoring good marks in both JEE and board exams. While the challenge to get into B-school was to improvise on scores and also maintain a good score in graduation. The challenge in B-school competitions was to compete among best brains in India and kept balance with other activities in campus.
