The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in the moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. And your response to the challenge, not the reactions; will define you who you going to be in life.
The biggest challenge I have faced is to break the glass ceiling: ‘Even after BDS choose to do MBA’
I have not had such examples of proper MBA after BDS. It was a less travelled path then and less travelled path now. It took lots of efforts to convince my parents to allow me to travel through this hazy less travelled path and to leave much reputed Dental practice. But in my first attempt at CAT, I scored 88.88% - even after a lot of efforts and dedication. I did not make it. I faced the turmoil between Clinic or prepare again. But I have gathered the courage to give it second try. In the second attempt, I have scored 98.85%. Even after owing to diversity I could not able to get IIM Ahmedabad call but getting into Tier 1 institutes like NMIMS is no lesser for me.
So I have decided to fight for it. And here I am. I can’t pull myself back to achieve something that I have aspired, just because of the problem. what helps me stands apart is my problem-solving skills and ability to see a problem differently which can open the new doors for the company.
I have realised over a period of time that challenges I have faced, gets a better person out of me and made me even stronger. And I still use every challenge as a triggering point for my success.
How ABGLP Has Had An Impact On My Life
Aditya Birla group was started in 1857 at the time major Indian rebellion movement by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla. Although revolt against the British Raj failed to attain independence, at the very same time, the Birla group had made a mark by commencing cotton trade operations from Pilani, Rajasthan. Now Aditya Birla Group stands at the helm of various companies in 14 industrial sectors by generating revenue of $44.3 Billion.
They often say, ‘ABG touches millions in the world. It is unlikely that you have never used a product, or travelled on a road or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in some way. Its presence in your life is massive”. I found the depth of their saying when I actually got to know, which brands come under Aditya Birla Group.
ABG has been a partner of growth since childhood. ‘Childhood...??’ Yes. My very first Bicycle was gifted by my uncle who has been employed with Grasim Industries limited. Since then I have been associated with ABG directly or indirectly. Some of the direct association started from my first idea Sim card to my recent clothing partners like Allen Solly, Peter England, Van Heusen etc. What makes my early cooked meal eatable is FreshWrapp aluminium foils. ABG has also contributed to the pride of the hometown by supplying their UltraTech Cement for one of the marvel statues, ‘Statue of Unity’.
Indeed, ABG’s ubiquitous presence has played an important part in my journey as the journey of a country as a whole and I’m truly thankful for all of these.
