It is a well known fact that life is a “struggle “ . Charms and challenges are a part and parcel of life. In order to succeed, everyone is bound to face the challenges and overcome them.
Many challenges have been faced by me in my struggle as well. However, the biggest challenge for me was the decision to quit my job in order to pursue MBA. After burning midnight oil, I ended up as an Assistant Manager at IDBI Bank Ltd, the then public sector bank. However, once I acquainted myself with the role, I understood that I can undertake more challenging work. After having invested a lot of time in my education, I believed that I could be a better resource for the Indian economy.But another bigger challenge that awaited me was to convince my family , the only stakeholders in my life's decision, after my country and myself. It was a herculean task to cajole them since the point in consideration was quitting a government sector job. I tried to explain my aspirations to them and made them realize the importance of working hard for me to achieve better in my life. I managed to convince them through my dedication , sincerity and hard work that followed, for MBA entrance exams. Finally, after a year of toil, I made into one of the premiere B-Schools of India, NMIMS Mumbai.
Now, from here, a plethora of new challenges awaits me. These challenges will prepare me for my life ahead. I , therefore, stand firm on my decision,ready to take up what life has to offer in days to come!
