Challenges are everyday but I remember most memorable victory of mine.
So today is the biggest event of the college. The annual fest. The audience is hooting, the moments are just going to make the memories.
I am the assistant anchor and still waiting for the main anchor looking at the crowd … thinking as if what does it feel like to interact with such a larger audience!!! Adrenaline flows through…looking at the crowd from the backstage.
Got the news that the main anchor could not make it to the event… the coordinator is tensed. She comes straight to me asking me to anchor the show… no script, no exact estimation of what is the chronological order of the shows in the event… I backed out …I was so nervous.
Back in the mind the scene of movie- ROCK ON! comes in mind.. you do not want to be a Rockstar. You just want to interact, to talk, to see your face in their eyes. Such large crowd , such energetic souls, where you feel like this is the only thing you were born to do….You have the chance to be Farhan Akhtar , have the centre stage, direct the audience with your words and voice……. Owning the world for few minutes. Those few moments were going to make you realize your dream of interacting souls at one place, simultaneously.
You do not think anything you just grab the chance to be a Rockstar, the attention of the show, you jump in!!!!
Starts with – HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!
Ends with one small push to oneself to chase the dream.
