Aditya Birla Group has been very closely connected to the lives of every Indian. From the World’s 2nd largest in the telecom to the World’s top can recycler, Aditya Birla Group has made a lasting impression in every sphere of business.
When I was young, I fell down while playing. My mother immediately ran towards me and quoted the tagline of Birla cement (now Ultratech cement). She said I was a strong girl that I did not cry, as strong as Birla Cement. Birla Group has been a vital part of my childhood through aluminium foil. Every time I opened my Lunchbox, Aditya Birla Group was there with me to share it.
From food Wrapping to clothes, the Group has had a very deep impact on the everyday lives of many. Being it my birthday dress or a suit for my MBA, I have always relied on the Aditya Birla Group. Brands like Allen Solly, Liva, Pantaloons and Forever 21 have always been my first choice. For gifting on birthdays and weddings, I have always preferred brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen and Peter England.
At my internship, I had the privilege of interacting with the employees of Aditya Birla Asset Management Company. It was my very first client and I was very impressed by the professional yet amicable nature of the employees. I was very impressed by the fact that Aditya Birla Group not only provides quality goods and services but it also provides a good work environment to its employees.
Not only products, the values of the Aditya Birla Group have touched my life in many ways. Since childhood, I have been a bright student. My thirst for excellence was not satiated even after performing consistently well in academics. I always like to take up additional challenges in life. I have strived to be an all-rounder, just like the Aditya Birla Group.
The Aditya Birla Group has its presence in the non-ferrous metals sector, cement sector, carbon black sector, textile sector, telecom sector and the fashion business. Aditya Birla is not only the Jack of all trades, but it is also the master of quite a few. For example, it is the largest producer of Viscose Staple Fibre, owns the largest telecom company in terms of subscribers and revenue, largest manufacture of carbon black, India’s largest cement company, world’s largest rolled aluminium producer and so on.
The Aditya Birla group also looks after its employees and the environment too. Like the Group, I was involved in many environmental protection acts like tree plantation drives, save water and reduce waste.
Taking this example, I have also strived to achieve success by pushing my boundaries. I have tried to participate in all activities in school, graduation college or a premier B-School like Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). I have been the president/head of various clubs and committees at school, college, post-graduation college or my workplace. I aspire to become as great as this renowned Group.
