B. How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
Everyone faces some challenges at one or another point of time in their life and trying to overcome the challenges is what life is all about. The problems that I faced impacted me with serious life lessons. I have always attached to my parents, and I could not tolerate any harm coming to them. On 23th Jan 2014, when I was preparing for my engineering finals, my father had a major heart attack and had been on the ventilator for about five months. That was a complete shock for the whole family as I have never seen severe such matter so close. Somehow, he managed to survive but with the slower pace of life. After three years of struggling, Doctors told to undergo heart transplantation or else it would be life-threatening. The surgery process was at a very nascent stage in a country like India, with huge costs and less chance of success. The amount was around 30 lacs, and post-treatments costs were extra. As I am the only son, it was an arduous task to arrange things and handle such a situation. My family again survived through this, and my father’s health is stable. Somehow, we managed and grown to think that life is full of unexpected and unpredictable situations. And we must take all possible chances to act on the littlest hope for goodwill.
A significant takeaway is one must not panic in stressful situations, but he has to think and act rationally.
Confronting challenges and overcoming them has boosted my confidence, and now I am ready to fight any problem coming my way.
