My time in IIM Trichy has been pretty exciting till now and I know for a fact that it will continue the same way for the rest of the two years, thanks to my crazy batchmates.
The first person I would like to talk about is Inchara. She is from Karnataka and has done her BTech from IIIT, Kancheepuram. She is a Bharatnatyam dancer, golf player, chess player and a very down-to-earth person. But her craziness is beyond measure! She is the kind who is mentally relaxed even after crossing deadlines in assignment submission, when the rest of us will be in panic mode. God only knows how she maintains her cool! She is so crazy about dance that if someone tells her to perform, she will choreograph her sequence within minutes and pull it off on-stage, like a boss. And what makes her cross the limits of craziness is her ability to hear. If she talks with a person once, she can detect that person’s laughter, cries, and of course their normal voice from a distance of even 1km, literally! Wow! But in my eye, she always comes as an innocent, fun-loving and sweet girl, Inchara.
The second person in my list is Roopam. She hails from Ranchi and has done her MTech from Central University of Jharkhand. She is a sports enthusiast and has reached national level in long jump and sprinting and is also a badminton champion. The reason why she is crazy is, she has never stayed outside Ranchi for more than a couple days, but still she decided to travel alone from Ranchi to Trichy. Though it was a brave act, it wasn’t necessary at that time because that journey ended up being her worst experience in life. She had too much to carry and had no help, she missed her train and so got on a flight at the last moment, faced language barrier in Trichy from the airport to the wrong stop that she managed to get down in, walked back 5km with all her luggage intact and finally reached the college hostel. If this is not crazy, I don’t know what is! Well, that’s Roopam for you.

The next is Harshita. She’s from Hyderabad and is a BTech graduate from NIT Raipur. She is a crazy workaholic. She is literally addicted to the extent where she joined IIM without getting relieved from her workplace. So everyday, she used to login and do her office work at the cost of her lunch and dinner. Sometimes she even brought her laptop to the class to work on the code she was developing. Well, I can never catch up to such craziness! And that is my super smart friend Harshita.

My last crazy friend is Shanmuga Priya. She is from Chennai and did her BTech from SASTRA University, Thanjavur. She is a very quiet girl but whenever she opens her mouth in class, it is nothing but to answer all the questions thrown at us by the professor. And she is very helpful too. As for the crazy factor, she is crazy studious! Always on time, not one late submission, always prepared for class, etc. Sometimes she appears as a robot to our eyes! What consistency! But also, the most helpful soul on earth, Shanmuga Priya.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to bring my crazy friends out to light.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and Why?
I would like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. I believe that fashion is a language by itself and that ABFRL will support me spread that language across lands and oceans. It would be a great privilege to work for the two most renowned Indian fashion icons, Madura Fashion and Pantaloons. Since I’m already exposed to Engineering and IT field, I think I would do a better job of understanding the various fields’ clothing requirements and their views on it, and bringing to them ABFRL’s styles and thereby taking India one step ahead in the field of fashion.
