Anything becomes big in someone’s life when it has the power to transform and bring a positive change in their life and Aditya Birla group in each of its offerings tries to create that impact in the lives of millions.Whether it is Infrastructure sector where they are helping the nation to build better roads,bridges or Financial sector where with the launch of Payments bank they have played their part to increase financial inclusion by giving services such as small savings accounts, payment or remittance services to migrant labour workforce, low income households, small businesses and unorganised sector .ABG is also one of the corporate groups that has responsibly stood up to protect the environment.These examples highlight the importance of this group in India’s economy and everyone keeps reading that in newspapers on a daily basis but one offering of this group that has really enabled and empowered my life and millions of other lives is, Health Insurance.India is one of the countries where least importance is given to Health Insurance ,we Indians spend lakhs on marriages , cars but buying an insurance policy is least in our priority list.I was 22 and was diagnosed with dengue in 2015, leading to a critical condition of liver dysfunctioning. The hospital expenses were increasing on a daily basis and it would have become a huge burden for my family and we would have been in debt. Our future would not have been secure if I had not taken, Aditya Birla Group Health insurance policy. That one decision to be part of the policy, not only saved me but also saved precious effort and money for my family.ABG really helped me to stand up again in my life and enabled me to move forward to chase my dreams again.Thanks ABG .As ABG team strives hard each day to provide services and create an impact in someone’s life same way every member of the family tries to work hard in some or other way and contribute to empower the family.After completing my 12th class I wanted to prepare for IIT /NIT examination and be part of an environment that will help me grow and my family, but because of poor financial condition of my family at that time it was not possible to pay heavy fees of coaching institutes. I was in a dilemma, at that point I had two choices, either to leave my dream and join state engineering colleges or to fight for 20 seats that Resonance, one of the premier coaching centres providing coaching for engineering entrance examinations, provided full fee waiver for if one qualified in there all India test. I decided to take the latter and prepared hard for all India Resonance exam and got into those 20 seats and was given full tuition fee waiver.This fight of mine where no one believed me,made me realize that even with limited resources in life you can achieve what you want given that you believe in yourself.
