PART A

Growing up, I was always intrigued by the world of brands and advertisements. I would keenly observe flamboyant posters and memorise catchy taglines. The one brand that etched into my memory as a kid was Aditya Birla group because of the popular brands under its umbrella. ABG has revolutionized the Indian industry.   It is the only company which has not failed to satisfy its customers in terms of value and quality. The company shows massive growth every year. From textiles, financial services, telecom services etc, it has not left any niche untapped. The products that the ABG group offers has become such an integral part of my life that it seems inconceivable of it being non-existent. The different marketing strategies that it  adopts leaves one in awe. I have been a loyal Vodafone Customer since the time I got my first mobile device, a regular shopper at the Pantaloons store and a customer of the financial services the brand offers.  It work culture is heard of and remains inspiring for me. As a marketing enthusiast, Aditya Birla remains my dream company to work for. It has truly “Taken India to the world”.

PART B

One of the challenges that I have faced from a very early age was not being expressive and being in my own comfort zone and closed group. I wasn’t an initiator and preferred things being served on my plate rather than going and fetching it myself. During college, I faced various problems because of my introvertness. I couldn’t be participative enough or network with anybody. I realized to realize my goals and for my own personal growth I had to overcome my habits and interact more with my peers. I joined various clubs in my college that helped me develop good interpersonal, communication and team skills. I started taking up additional responsibilities and volunteered for public speaking activities. This helped me network more and open up to people. It took a lot of time but I was persevering with a ‘never give up’ attitude. Transforming myself to a more social person was a very challenging task for me.
